Aged and Disabled Waiver Updated by FSSA

The Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) announced today that it must implement a waiting list for individuals seeking access to services on the Aged and Disabled (A&D) Waiver because the waiver has reached the capacity as determined in the state's waiver application, which is approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

Individuals currently Active and receiving services through the A&D waiver will not be affected.
AIHS will continue to accept referrals and focus will be to determine if client meets level of care requirements and can be placed on the Aged and Disabled waiver waiting list. Other potential resources will be discussed with clients and families.
This is all the information we have at this time. If you have specific questions about client status in the waiver process, you contact David Anthony with a list of your cases.
