Two new associates
Burt Blee is pleased to announce that Jacob Venderley and Eric Claxton have joined the firm as Associates.
Jacob Venderley practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. Jake brings with him, nearly a decade of legal experience in a variety of areas and courts throughout Indiana. Jake takes great pride in his tireless and zealous representation of clients, both in advisory and litigation roles. Jake has spent years coaching youth sports and also serves as pro bono counsel for the Allen County Mental Health Commitment Hearings.
Eric Claxton focuses his practice in the areas of business, corporate, banking and real estate transactions. After graduating from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2021, Eric worked at a small firm in the Indianapolis metropolitan area before deciding to come back home to Fort Wayne. While in law school, Eric participated in the Robert H. Staton Moot Court Competition and served as a Dean’s Tutorial Society Fellow for two years, tutoring first-year law students in legal communication and analysis. Outside of the office, Eric enjoys rooting on the Hoosiers and Colts.
