Three new associates have joined the law office of Burt Blee Dixon Sutton & Bloom as associates.

J. Connor Fitzharris practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation. While attending Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review and earned his Sports Law Certificate from the National Sports Law Institute. Outside of the office, Connor enjoys cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in all sports and is an avid golfer.

Madison M. Heiney focuses her practice in the areas of business, corporate, and real estate transactions. After graduating from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Madison decided to return to her hometown to practice law.

While in law school, Madison interned at Wardyński i Wspólnicy sp.k, an international Polish firm, assisting with human rights cases during the summer of her second year of law school, was a Note’s Editor for the Indiana Journal of Law and Social Equality, had her Note published in Volume 11, Issue 2, and spent two years mentoring two groups of incoming students. She received an additional certificate in Information Privacy Law and Policy in addition to her J.D.. Also while in law school, Madison volunteered at the Inmate Legal Assistance Program for three years and the Protective Order Project for two years and was the President of the Labor and Employment Law Society during her second year.

In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and watching sports—specifically the Indiana Hoosiers.

Garrett McNamee joined after graduating from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While in law school, Garrett participated in the Dean’s Tutorial Society, Robert H. Stanton Moot Court Competition, and the IUPUI Pathways Program where he tutored undergraduate students in a legal writing course. Garrett also served on the Civil Practice Clinic where he facilitated the expungement process for individuals looking for work with a prior criminal record. In fall 2021, Garrett interned on the Indiana Supreme Court in the Chambers of the Honorable Chief Justice Loretta Rush. Garrett passed the Indiana Bar Exam in July 2023 and plans to continue to grow his legal knowledge through the mentorship of the legal team at Burt Blee.

We are excited to welcome these new associates to the firm.
